01 — WHO IS RESPONSIBLE
GreenTrust AI / SocIT Development
For the public website at greentrust.ch, GreenTrust AI is operated by SocIT Development in Switzerland. Questions or privacy requests can be submitted through the GreenTrust feedback page.
This policy covers the public website. Separate GreenTrust products or services may provide additional notices when their data processing differs from the website described here.
02 — INFORMATION WE PROCESS
Only what the website needs
Technical connection data
When a browser requests a webpage, standard internet protocols necessarily transmit technical information to the server or infrastructure delivering the site. This can include an IP address, requested URL, date and time, browser or user-agent information and related security data.
GreenTrust does not use the public website to build advertising profiles from this technical information.
Consent preference
The site stores your analytics choice and the associated consent-policy version in your browser using local storage. The details are described in the Cookie Policy.
Information you provide
If you voluntarily send information through a GreenTrust contact or feedback channel, the information you submit is processed so that GreenTrust can receive, review and respond to it. A separate service may present additional information where appropriate.
03 — WHY WE USE DATA
Specific purposes, not open-ended collection
- to deliver the website and maintain its security and reliability;
- to remember whether you accepted or denied optional analytics;
- to understand website usage through Google Analytics only after consent;
- to receive and respond to messages you intentionally submit;
- to comply with applicable legal obligations or protect legitimate legal interests when necessary.
04 — OPTIONAL ANALYTICS
Google Analytics is consent-based
GreenTrust uses Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-XJL31E3FBK. The analytics script is intended to load only after you choose Accept in the cookie banner. If you choose Deny, GreenTrust does not intentionally activate Google Analytics for that visit.
When enabled, Analytics can process information such as pages viewed, session activity, referring information, browser and device characteristics and approximate geographic information. Google states that it does not log or store individual IP addresses for users in Switzerland, the EEA or the United Kingdom; IP information is used for coarse geolocation before being discarded.
Google signals and advertising-personalisation signals are disabled in the GreenTrust website configuration. More detail about the cookies involved is available in the Cookie Policy.
05 — PROVIDERS AND TRANSFERS
Who may process information
Technical data required to deliver the website may be processed by the hosting, network or security infrastructure used to operate greentrust.ch. GreenTrust does not name a provider here unless its role has been confirmed, because this notice should describe the actual deployment rather than guess.
If analytics is accepted, measurement data is processed by Google. Google operates infrastructure internationally and may process data outside Switzerland under its contractual and legal transfer mechanisms.
GreenTrust does not sell personal data to advertisers.
06 — YOUR RIGHTS
You can ask what happens to your data
Depending on the law that applies to you and the circumstances of the processing, you may have rights to request information or access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, and data portability where applicable.
You can also withdraw analytics consent. Denying analytics on a later visit stops future optional measurement by the website; you may additionally clear cookies and local storage in your browser.
Privacy requests can be submitted through the GreenTrust feedback page. People in Switzerland may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
07 — RETENTION, SECURITY AND CHANGES
Keep only what remains necessary
The consent preference stored in your browser remains until it is replaced, cleared or the site asks for a new consent version. Google Analytics cookie lifetimes are described in the Cookie Policy; Analytics account-level data retention depends on the settings configured in the GreenTrust Analytics property.
GreenTrust uses reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the website and may update this policy when the site, providers or applicable requirements change. Material changes may cause the consent banner to ask for a new choice.
